A few days ago, Team Xtract found themselves in the throes of preparation for one of their biggest events of the year– Geotab Connect, or known as GC24!
The journey began with a swift departure from Heathrow on a Monday, where they wasted no time, initiating a casual yet highly effective briefing mid-air aka "Mile High Meeting". A somewhat jet-lagged but undeniably thrilled ensemble touched down in Las Vegas, late in the evening.
Tuesday saw the technical collaboration on the Bumper Car exhibit, a joint initiative between Xtract and the Geotab Team that promised sparks of innovation.
The grand curtain was raised on Thursday, when Colin Sutherland announced the Bumper Car exhibit at the morning keynote, marking the official kick-off to GC24. The team met with the Marketplace crew, setting the stage for what was to be an eventful affair.
Straight after, the Bumper Car exhibit was unveiled, featuring live crash reconstructions The team showcased insights from the Geotab GO device and three esteemed Dashcam providers – Sensata, SureCam, and Lytx.
The afternoon unfolded with the grand opening of the Marketplace Hall, providing the team with a unique opportunity to interact with a plethora of partners and potential customers. The joyous reunion with familiar faces only added to the spectacle.
Fast forward to the final day on Friday, the team, after a flurry of activity, basked in the glory of the closing presentation. As the curtain fell on GC24, the collective reflection showcased a triumph of success. An evening adorned with cocktails, delectable nibbles, and a magical visit to the Sphere brought the festivities to a close.
