Xtract launch at TU Automotive - London

April 20, 2018

Quick update on this weeks developments!

So Xtract kicked off its launch this week at TU’s Digital Insurance Conference in London and luckily our presentation wasn’t a total car crash – no reconstructions required.

Some Background on TU:

The TU (Telematics Update) Conference Series is the world’s largest gathering of Telematics and Automotive experts and is hosted over a two day period, which includes keynote’s, panel discussions, workshops and break-out sessions to facilitate networking. This year London was host to their Digital Insurance conference which brings together Telematics Service Providers, Automotive OEM’s and Insurers to share industry knowledge, seek out new upcoming technology and establish cross-industry partnerships in order to enhance their service offerings.

Event

Xtract exhibited over the course of the two days during London’s April heatwave in the ILEC Centre in London. Michael Flanagan, Xtract CEO unveiled the platform on Wednesday morning to a crowd of the biggest names in auto and insurance. It was the first time Xtract had shown the product to the public and we were flattered with the reception we received (some minor whiplash injuries were sustained - possibly fraudulent). Michael demonstrated how Xtract enables claim handlers to gain instant insights to an incident at FNOL, reducing claim processing times, minimising frictional costs and enabling real-time decision making on vehicle triage, liability and fraud.

Special thanks to Sahil Jon and Andy Pym for organising a fantastic event. We hope the engagement for all attendees was as valuable as we found it - we’re already looking forward to the upcoming Detroit and Chicago events in June and September!

And here’s a snapshot of Michael sweating it out on stage…

Fun fact: likelihood of car crashes goes up during hot temperatures

Enjoy the weekend and weather!
